About Us

Welcome to Honored Services, where housing meets heart.

We’re dedicated to helping individuals secure safe, affordable, and stable shared housing while providing the supportive services they need to thrive. Our focus is on seniors, veterans, working adults, and individuals on their recovery or mental health journey—people who deserve not just a place to stay, but a community that cares.

At Honored Services, we understand that stability begins with more than four walls. That’s why we combine quality housing with personalized case management and social services support, assisting residents with essential needs such as Medicaid, SNAP, appointment scheduling, and access to community resources.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to help every individual live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

We’re proud to walk alongside our residents on their journey toward stability and success—because at Honored Services, we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and honored.

About the Founder

The founder of Honored Services began their career in social services at a skilled nursing facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Early on, they gained hands-on experience across multiple areas of social services under the guidance of a licensed supervisor, allowing for broad exposure to advocacy, discharge planning, and client-centered care.

In 2019, the founder relocated to Ocala and accepted a Director of Social Services role, working closely with individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability. It was during this time that a recurring issue became impossible to ignore—many seniors were remaining in nursing facilities longer than necessary due to the lack of affordable and accessible housing options in the community.

After serving in several skilled nursing facilities throughout Ocala, the same challenges persisted. Later work in The Villages revealed a different but equally critical concern: while homelessness was less prevalent, many individuals were living month to month with minimal support, limited resources, and no safety net when challenges arose.

Motivated by a desire to create lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes, the founder envisioned a housing program that would go beyond shelter alone. Honored Services was created to provide stable, affordable housing paired with optional ongoing support and guidance—meeting individuals where they are and empowering them to move forward with dignity.

The mission of Honored Services was solidified through a meaningful interaction with a client preparing for discharge who asked what support would be available after leaving the facility. That moment underscored a powerful truth: housing without continued support leaves many vulnerable individuals at risk. Honored Services exists to bridge that gap, ensuring that people are not just housed, but supported, valued, and remembered.

Driven by compassion and frustration with a broken system, Fritz decided to take action. He envisioned a program that didn’t just place people in housing temporarily but offered them stability, guidance, and access to ongoing support. His goal was to create a model that blended affordable living with social services—empowering individuals to rebuild their lives, not just survive.

The spark for Honored Services came from a simple yet powerful moment. While assisting a patient with multiple social challenges, the individual asked, “Do you do house calls? What if I need you again after discharge?” Fritz smiled and replied, “You can always reach me at the facility.” But that question stayed with him. It was then he realized his true calling—to serve those who are often forgotten, to bridge the gap between care and community, and to make lasting change for Ocala and its surrounding areas.
